A car rental company employee exploded at a customer in a confrontation caught on video.
Footage at Goldcar, outside Sydney Domestic Airport, shows the two men pointing and shouting at each other over the counter.
The worker can be heard shouting ‘I’ve been speaking very kindly to you sir’ after the customer asked him for his name so they could make a formal complaint against him.
The war of words then escalated when the customer told the worker to leave and gestured toward a back door.
‘I am not your servant!’ The furious worker yelled in the man’s face before being escorted away by a co-worker.

The video divided opinions online after being posted on TikTok.
“There is no excuse to act like this in front of customers,” wrote one user. “If customers misbehave, calmly call the police or security.”
“Rule #1 of customer service, customers are always right, the first thing they told me when I started,” said another.
Others disagreed and blamed the “rude customer rather than poor customer service.”
‘He told the car rental guy to ‘shut up’ how is that respectful? It’s a two-way street, don’t speak rudely to anyone and expect courtesy in return,” said one.
“The customer started by telling the worker to shut up,” a second wrote. “Don’t blame the worker for breaking out.”
