Mrs. Thorpe was then isolated for her own protection for the next six months, gaining 35kg and suffering from postpartum depression, with Wallace often out and about with the Titans.
Overwhelmed with fear, Mrs. Thorpe regularly apologized to her husband for being overweight, even promising the front rower that she would ‘get skinny, please don’t cheat on me’.
Wallace reportedly reassured her that he would not stray and only had eyes for her.
Last September, Ms Thorpe’s life was turned upside down when she confronted Wallace about other alleged women he had seen.
A series of alleged text messages confirmed her suspicions and their marriage was essentially over from then on. Wallace has never admitted to infidelity and denies any suggestion that he cheated on Mrs. Thorpe.
“I was in shock and I wanted to believe my husband wouldn’t do this to me,” Thorpe told the… courier post.
“I feel so stupid for being so smug that I had a husband who wasn’t like that. “It felt so embarrassing – and how many people knew that, I always wonder.”

On the spot, she decided not to go anywhere and walked home with Kennedy in her arms.
When other women later contacted her to reveal her connections to Wallace – who denied the claims – her suspicions grew even more.
The couple has since split up and Thorpe’s podcast, More Than Just a Mum, was a cleansing experience.

She also stressed the importance of women not suffering in silence and called on the Titans for what she believes is immoral behavior.

In response to Ms Thorpe’s allegations of an alleged lack of support for partners, Titans management has issued a club statement.
“The Titans provide wellness support to all players, staff and families,” it read.
“It’s a crucial part of our club and something we treat with the utmost importance.
‘We absolutely confide in personal and private personnel matters.’
