Social media star Karina Irby was kicked out of a Gold Coast cafe this week after she showed up to host an impromptu swimsuit photo shoot.
The body positive influencer, 34, shared a video of her and her friends arriving at the Palm Springs Café in Burleigh Heads without a reservation and began filming an advert for her activewear line.
Irby explained that he thought the venue would have no problem with the session because he had bought them a cake and coffee.
“I thought I could order a bunch of delicious food and drinks, eat, and have the girls perform Moana Smile Club at this local cafe,” she began.
Unfortunately for Irby, the cafe staff were not at all thrilled and immediately told her and her friends to leave.

“They asked us not to film there and kicked us out of the cafe,” Karina furiously told her fans.
Fortunately, Irby and his friends were able to complete the photo shoot after a local homeowner offered to let them film at his home.
However, Palm Springs Café owners Cohen and Josh had a different version of events, telling Daily Mail Australia that Karina was not “asked to leave” but instead asked to book the session at a acceptable moment.

‘We do not allow professional photo shoots during business hours out of respect for our guests. However, we rent out our space for professional photo shoots, it’s a service we offer,” Cohen said.
‘All that was said is that if you have a professional photographer you should set aside time to book a session. We do not allow professional photography during business hours out of respect for our other guests.
They continued: ‘Not everyone wants to be in the background of a photo shoot. There was no malice behind this. You don’t go to the Carlisle, book a hotel room and film a commercial.
‘Someone of his stature should have known as he runs a successful business. She told us that she contacted us and tried to book but we are on top of our emails and social media and that never happened.
