Victims: All three generations of Gogglebox’s Silbery family admitted after watching Scott Morrison’s interview on ACA that they had been victims of sexual assault in the past
The Silbery family has appeared on the four-time Logie Award-winning series since 2016 and has shared many personal stories during that time.
Isabelle watched ACA host Tracy Grimshaw’s interview with Mr. Morrison and commented, “Emmie, you’ve been sexually assaulted. Mom, you have. I have been attacked. We have all three. ‘
Emmie replied, “It’s been going on forever.”
‘I’ve been attacked’: Isabelle, 35, said she’d been abusive before, noting that her mom Kerrie, 67, and her grandmother Emmie, 91, had that too
The Silberys went on to praise Grimshaw for the way she handled the interview.
“Tracy Grimshaw has a pair of ovaries,” Kerrie said, while Emmie added, “A very strong pair of ovaries, I’d say.”
Grimshaw spoke out to Mr Morrison about his handling of the rape claim in Brittany Higgins and other parliament sex scandals in the fiery TV interview.
‘Tracy’s got a pair of ovaries’: The three generations of women then praised veteran journalist Tracy Grimshaw’s approach to discussing the tough topics with the Prime Minister
Mr. Morrison insisted that he was not a ‘judge and jury’ and that police investigation should be allowed to proceed.
The Prime Minister then clashed with Grimshaw when he was accused of ‘immediately believing’ that Mr Porter denied the rape allegation.
He hinted that Mr. Porter will remain in the front seat while contemplating a cabinet reshuffle.
Mr. Porter is expected to be demoted because his defamation lawsuit against the ABC for publishing the rape claim was a conflict of interest to his role as attorney general.
