Football superstar Nathan Cleary has let fans into his home in an exclusive behind-the-scenes look with NRL team Penrith Panthers.
Cleary, 26, is the proud owner of a stunning $1.7 million riverside home in western Sydney, located on the Nepean River. He bought the property from his parents last year.
Since then, he has overseen exciting renovations to the house and let in cameras to give fans a glimpse into his life off the football field.
‘I like it here where I can come home and be away from the limelight. “It’s a place where I can really be myself and relax,” he said.
He showed off his ‘break room’ complete with a widescreen TV and video games.

The $1.7 million home features a “rest room” where he hangs out and plays.

“It’s pretty fun, I come here and play some games.”
The home also features a swimming pool and a newly installed putting green, the envy of most sports-obsessed men his age.
“I’ve got the pool which is good when it’s hot in the summer, they recently installed the putting green too so that’s another good addition.”
However, Cleary has encountered a problem with the new addition to his house. Her dog, Prince, hasn’t understood the concept of putting.
“I can’t bring Prince here because he’s obsessed with golf balls,” Cleary said, his dog intercepting one of his putts for good measure.
Last November, Sydney interior design studio Alicia Xiberras Interiors revealed its designs for the property.
“We submitted our bathroom design to our local Penrith legend, Nathan Cleary,” the studio wrote.
‘Designing Nathan’s bathroom was a great experience as his brief was out of the ordinary.
It also has a pool for the summer heat, and is in the shade.
He recently installed a putting green where he could practice his short game.
However, he had trouble stopping Prince from intercepting the ball.
‘This bathroom is the definition of urban masculine style, with a luxurious look. To achieve this, the AXI team created a contrasting color palette with a combination of refined and unique shapes to help bring Nathan’s vision to life.

The design studio also shared a video clip inside Cleary’s home, where Cleary expresses his interest in modern design ideas.
The home is located in a leafy setting with indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, and features large windows allowing in plenty of natural light.
The spacious home is also located near BlueBet Stadium, which is very convenient for the Panthers’ home games and practices.
