Ranvir Singh has revealed that she secretly separated from her husband when she was seven months pregnant and admits she has been a single mother for 12 years.
The Good Morning Britain presenter, 46, has been dating Louis Church, who at 28 is 18 years her junior, since September 2020 after meeting him while working behind the scenes during her stint on Strictly Come Dancing.
Opening the White Wine Question Time podcast with Kate Thornton, she said: ‘I’ve actually been a single mum since I was 7 months pregnant. I’ve kept it a secret, but now I can talk about it.
‘I’m at a point in my life now where I think I’m learning to embrace my whole life and not compartmentalize it so much, to keep everything separate. And that’s my thing.
‘I’m happy to correct it today. Obviously my friends and family knew this. Prove that you can keep whatever you want private!’

It comes after Ranvir has taken the next step in her relationship with her boyfriend Louis Church after moving him in with her and her son.
The broadcaster has now given insight into her routine at home with Louis.
she said The telegraph: ‘(At 5:30 am) I try to convince myself to go back to sleep but it doesn’t always work. I get up, make some decaffeinated tea, and start chopping an onion to make dahl for lunch.
‘My partner Louis is terrible. Always hit the snooze button every ten minutes. It drives me crazy!
Before Louis moved in, Ranvir was already living with her 10-year-old son Tushaan, whom she shares with her ex-husband Ranjeet Singh Dehal and her mother.
The TV star said she likes to dress casually for weekend walks with Louis and her dog.
She added: ‘(At 11am) A quick shower and then we went for a walk with our dog, Shmizzels, in the Chiltern Hills.
‘This time of year I live in my furry knee-high UGG boots – they’re my best investment! I don’t wear makeup on the weekends and I don’t care how I look.
It comes after Ranvir has taken the next step in her relationship with her boyfriend Louis Church after moving him in with her and her son (pictured last month).

Ranvir previously said people are too “obsessed” with age differences and revealed he was “blissfully happy” with his toyboy partner.
“I knew Louis was special the moment he walked in… He instinctively knew exactly what he needed… I don’t see an age difference,” she said. Woman and Home.
‘What really matters in any type of relationship in life is the synchronicity of values and emotions. I don’t know why we’re so obsessed with the age difference.
Ranvir continued: “As we are now, we are blissfully happy and Louis lives very much in the present.”
Reunion: Ranvir and Louis first met when he was working as a production secretary on last year’s Strictly, in which she competed with Giovanni Pernice (Ranvir and Giovanni on the show).
He said the couple “doesn’t put undue pressure” on their joy because “it’s not worth ruining the present by thinking about a lot of different scenarios that might or might not happen.”
Ranvir and Louis first met when he was working as a production secretary on 2020’s Strictly, in which she was competing with Giovanni Pernice.
The journalist confirmed her new romance in December 2021 and gushed: “I’m very happy.”
A source said the sun at the time: ‘Ranvir and Louis have been dating for a few months and are totally in love, she met his family and went with him to her aunt’s wedding last week.
And it’s obvious that Louis has really liked Tushaan.
‘They have kept their romance out of the spotlight, but when Ranvir was invited to go to the music event at O2 she wanted to go with Louis and their son.
“They are both clearly in love and were holding hands most of the day. They have incredible chemistry.
“Ranvir was beaming with happiness as he saw Louis and Tushaan together.”
The source went on to say that Louis “looked really proud” while Ranvir posed for photos with fans and “looked like a really happy family unit.”
