Police are investigating after a body was found on a popular Adelaide beach.
Emergency services were rushed to Glenelg North shortly after 6.30am after someone walking on the beach tripped over the body.
South Australian police and paramedics rushed to the scene following the grim discovery.

Parts of the beach were closed and the SES helped hide the body from public view.
The investigation is in its early stages and police are seen on the beach taking photographs of the scene.
“Police must conduct further investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the death,” South African police said in a statement.
