The latest incidents come hours after the body of a man who went missing while canyoneering in the Blue Mountains was found.

The 39-year-old man from St Ives was canyoning with a group in the River Wollangambe at Mount Wilson on Sunday afternoon when he went missing.

His body was found the next morning.
