Glen Waverley Secondary College: Teenager fights for her life after ute knocks over three students outside school

A teenager is fighting for her life and two children are injured after being hit by a van in Melbourne.

The trio were walking along O’Sullivan Road near Glen Waverley Secondary College shortly after 3pm on Friday when they were hit by the Mitsubishi Triton.

The vehicle stopped nearby and a 44-year-old man from Springvale is assisting police. A passenger who was in the ute has not been found.

The teenager suffered injuries to her upper and lower body and is in a critical condition at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

One of the teens also has injuries to his upper and lower body and is in serious but stable condition at Alfred Hospital.

The other student suffered minor injuries to his upper body and is being treated at Box Hill Hospital.
