Glen Powell has nonchalantly played down a new comparison with Ryan Gosling.

He replied: “Gosling is a legend. I’m just Glen,” referencing Gosling’s 2023 Barbie ballad, I’m Just Ken.
In addition to contrasting him with Ryan, the producer also said: “Glen Powell is definitely an up-and-coming movie star in the sense that audiences are now going to the movies to see him.”

This comes after Glen’s wild transformation for Chad Powers’ new satirical series last week left fans stunned (and some mistaking him for Tom Cruise).
Hulu has released an official image of the actor in the upcoming comedy show, a day after DailyMail.com shared sneak peek images of the unrecognizable star on set.
A joint post with Glen, ESPN, Hulu and Omaha Productions included the caption: “Think fast, run fast. Glen Powell is #ChadPowers in Hulu’s new comedy series.”
Powell co-creates the upcoming half-hour comedy series with Michael Waldron.
It was spun off from an ESPN+ sketch created by former football star Eli Manning, 43, and he will executive produce the show alongside Glen and Michael.
Also included in the recent social media post was the original sketch starring Eli as Powers.
An official synopsis for the comedy reads: ‘When bad behavior derails standout quarterback Russ Holliday’s college career, he dons a disguise and joins a struggling Southern football team as the talented and affable Chad Powers.’
Glen was spotted on set this month wearing a scruffy blonde wig and a large, prosthetic nose.
He also sported a mustache when filming began in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Hollywood hunk played down his appearance by sporting a blue Nike short-sleeved sports shirt, an arm band and yellow shorts.
Glen’s transformation for Chad Powers’ new satirical series recently left fans stunned, with some mistaking him for Tom Cruise.
Fans took to ESPN’s comments to hilariously agree that Glen could be mistaken for Tom Cruise.
The show is directed by Tony Yacenda and also stars Quentin Plair, Wynn Everett, Perry Mattfeld, Frankie A. Rodriguez and Steve Zahn.
