‘M&D just released their next single. Brother László Criss 3/6/24’, Criss subtitled the mail. ‘Get out now. …And yes, his name is Brother.’
Their caption appeared to be a nod to when they announced their first child, Bluesy Belle, in April 2022. “M & D made sweet music,” Criss wrote at the time. ‘Get out now.’
Criss came in and edited his post to clarify that the newborn’s name is, in fact, Brother.

And now the Golden Globe winner, 37, and his wife are being trolled by fans over their newborn’s unique name.
Fans put two and two together, realizing that Criss has kids named Bluesy and Brother, and one commented: ‘Did you name your kids after the blues brothers in a super literal way?’
“If you need to say ‘yes, her name really is…,’ you probably picked a bad name,” one user wrote, while another added: “Some people need to be reminded (or directly realized) that their babies They are real human beings they are choosing to name.
Other people pointed out the problems that could arise if the brother marries and wrote: ‘Do you accept the brother as your legitimate husband?’
‘Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. Sorry, but his son will be made fun of on the playground for calling him Brother,” someone else wrote.
But Criss and Swier, 38, also received congratulatory comments from friends, including some of Criss’ Glee castmates.
‘Yesssss! So happy for your growing family!! I love you all!’ wrote Matthew Morrison.
“Congratulations,” Kevin McHale wrote with crying emojis.
‘Congratulations family!’ Rachel Brosnahan commented.
“You sure are cute kids,” Emma Hunton praised.

‘AND COMING SOON…hopefully the sequel is better than photoshop!!’ Criss captioned the poster, which also featured two positive pregnancy tests.
They previously announced their first pregnancy by sharing audio of Bluesy’s heartbeat from inside the womb.
‘We’ve been making music for years. …But this time we made a BEAT,’ Criss wrote at the time. “The ultimate collaboration launching in spring 2022.”

After welcoming Bluesy, Criss spoke to People about new fatherhood while starring on Broadway in a revival of American Buffalo.
“It’s a blessing to have all of these things happening at the same time: personal and domestic matters happening alongside the same fun, prosperity and excitement that exist in my professional life; there’s something very exhilarating about that,” he said.
