Hailey Clifton-Carmack (pictured), 26, was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to sexual contact with a student.

Prosecutors have given favorable treatment to a Missouri math teacher who admitted to having sex with a student at school while others acted as “lookouts.”

Hailey Clifton-Carmack, 26, previously pleaded guilty to sexual contact with a student in exchange for the other charges, including statutory rape, child abuse and child endangerment, being dropped.

The teacher was captured after police were informed of the relationship between Clifton-Carmack and the student after a Laquey High School classmate came forward and showed photos of the teen’s scratches.

She was sentenced to four years in prison and ordered to complete a sex offender treatment program. KJLU reported.

However, the judge said he will receive updates on his progress in 90 days and, if he does well, Clifton-Carmack could have his sentence suspended and be reduced to probation.

Clifton-Carmack was arrested by the Garden Ridge Police Department in early January in Comal County, Texas.

But the sexual conduct took place in Pulaski County, Missouri, about 800 miles from where she was detained by police.

Court documents claim the teen and teacher had sex during school while using other students as ‘spotters,’ according to KRCG.

According to court records, Laquey’s school resource officer contacted the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department and reported the relationship to police once the student presented the photos of his classmate and the scratches.

The teen said the scratches came from Clifton-Carmack after he had sex with the teacher in his classmate’s driveway.

Clifton-Carmack, who has two young daughters, was recently divorced and married to Chance Carmack, who is an amateur mixed martial arts fighter and who had completed basic training in the US Army.

Detectives visited the school district on Dec. 8 to speak with the teacher and took her phone, but until police obtained a court order to unlock it, they were unable to see any incriminating messages.

At the time, Clifton-Carmack denied having any type of relationship with students outside of school.

After obtaining a warrant, police found text messages related to the alleged relationship with the 16-year-old.

The teen’s father, Mark Creighton, is accused of knowing about the relationship but failing to report it and was initially charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

He recently pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 6, according to KY3.
