The 44-year-old Horizontina-born woman, who has 35 million followers on social media, captioned her Instagram Slideshow: “I’ve always dreamed of visiting Lençóis Maranhenses. Brazil is so beautiful!”
‘Lençóis’ is the Portuguese word for ‘sheets’ and is one of the most fascinating and unique landscapes on Earth thanks to being sculpted by sand, rain and wind.
Gisele took a helicopter from nearby São Luís-Marechal Cunha Machado International Airport to the 380,000-acre national park, located in the state of Maranhão in northeastern Brazil.
Bündchen was accompanied on the rolling sand dunes by her daughter Vivian Lake Brady.

The CAA Fashion model shared a video of her 11-year-old mini-me running down one of the dunes and diving into a 10-foot-deep lagoon, which is said to reach temperatures of 81F-90F degrees.
The lagoons are said to form between the dunes during the rainy season (May-September) and a layer of impermeable rock prevents the water from draining.
Gisele and little Vivian also enjoyed horseback riding in the Lençóis Maranhenses.
There were at least nine people riding ATVs at dusk in Bündchen’s group, but it’s unclear whether one of them was her boyfriend of one year, jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.
