Stafanos Tsitsipas’ girlfriend, Paula Badosa, was on hand for her pair’s epic match with Andy Murray on Thursday night, but eagle-eyed fans saw her less than impressed with her father and coach Apostolos during the showdown.
The fifth-seeded Greek was three sets into a grueling battle with Murray under the lights on Center Court before play was stopped short of the 11pm curfew, and the former rivals returned to action on Friday for the fourth set.
Having lost the first set tiebreaker, the two-time former champion fought back, taking the second and third sets to lead 2-1, recovering from a late injury scare just before play was stopped.
With her partner struggling to contain Murray’s return charge, Badosa was seen staring at the back of Apostolos’s head after the 55-year-old turned to face her between points.
But instead of just a brief glance at her boyfriend’s long-term coach, the Spanish star shot him a look that lasted several seconds, apparently less than impressed by Tsitsipas’ father.

Upon seeing the pictures, one fan commented: ‘She’s known Stefanos for two minutes and she’s already had him with her dad!’
And another added: “No Paula leering at my man Apo (Apostolos),” followed by a crying emoji.
Badosa, who is due to appear on court 18 for her own second-round clash with Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk on Friday morning, has already made headlines during this year’s Championships after revealing a sex dream she had with Tsitsipas.
The pair have been publicly dating since the French Open, but Badosa offered, unprompted, the story of how she had a racy dream about the Greek tennis ace earlier this year in Australia.
‘Yeah, well, I got injured in Australia. I saw his game, the final. Of course I got jet lag because I was in Spain. I decided to watch that match,’ he said at a Wimbledon press conference earlier this week.
‘Amazing, because I never dream of tennis players, but I did dream about him that night, that we were both winning the Australian Open.
So it was like we were having a very romantic moment, but I’m not going to explain it. I’m going to leave it there,’ which he was greeted with laughter from those present at the unexpected insight into his personal life.
They have only gone public about their relationship for a couple of months, with the 25-year-old in attendance during the No. 5 Men’s Players’ matches at the French Open in May.

The Greek fifth seed has described Badosa as his ‘soul mate’ despite the fact that they have only been together publicly since the French Open in May.
However, the pair already appear to be very close, with Tsitsipas referring to Badosa as his ‘soul mate’ when speaking to the BBC as part of their coverage of the tournament.
“I feel happy and content,” Tsitsipas told Eurosport recently.
“I hadn’t really felt that kind of connection with anyone before. I don’t want to sound embarrassed or anything because that’s the reality and that’s what I’m dealing with.
I am extremely blessed and happy that this has come at this stage in my life.
‘I can do what I love and I can do it with someone who fully understands me and understands me. I have been very interested in his mind more than anything else.
“Of course there’s attraction, but sometimes it’s also just an interaction of the soul and falling in love with your mind. It is very rare for these things to happen.
The couple also have an Instagram account together, tsitsidosa, and they share several photos from their travels.
The pair will share the court in the mixed doubles competition, hoping perhaps that their shared chemistry can pay off on the grass.

Boulter and De Minaur have been together since they met in March 2020.
They’ll take on Jessica Pegula and Austin Krajicek on Friday, with both now also in contention in singles matchups beforehand.
But they won’t be the only pair to team up this year, with Katie Boulter, Great Britain’s top hope in the women’s draw, lining up with boyfriend Alex de Minaur.
The pair first met in 2020 and have been together ever since, but this is the first time they will share the court together in doubles competition.
Boulter is off to a good start in the main draw, safely reaching the third round, where she will face reigning champions Elene Rybakina, following wins over Daria Saville and Viktoriya Tomova.
