Girlfriend of Australian man caught stealing Viagra from humble Bali store reveals why he REALLY needed the erectile dysfunction drug…and what she thought of his wild trip
EXCLUSIVE
The girlfriend of an Australian man caught stealing Viagra from an unsuspecting pharmacist in Bali has come to her lover’s defense – insisting the drug is not just used for erections.
Kane Bailey, 19, was arrested and forced to sign a peace deal with an Indonesian chemist who caught him on CCTV stealing the performance-enhancing drug.
Mr Bailey – who was later expelled – has since taken damage control steps, deleting a photo of himself on holiday posing with a St George Illawarra rugby league player.
His girlfriend, makeup artist Kate Tanti, told Daily Mail Australia she was experiencing the same unhappy holiday.
“Viagra is not only used for people with erectile dysfunction, it is also used as a sexual stimulant,” she said.
“You’re rather making fun of other men who suffer from erectile dysfunction – it can lead to poor mental health in many men.”

Mr Bailey, 19, and a friend walked into the pharmacy in North Kuta on Saturday evening and began asking the pharmacist questions about Viagra. As they talked, he stuffed four pills into his pocket.
Mr Bailey walked into a pharmacy in North Kuta last Saturday evening with a friend and began asking the clerk questions about the pill.
The pharmacy employee handed Bailey the box of Viagra so they could both take a look.
When the salesman wasn’t looking, Mr Bailey sneakily stuffed a pack of pills into the pocket of his shorts, before his friend handed the box back to him.
The couple then left the pharmacy. Staff later discovered that four pills in the box had been stolen.
CCTV of the theft quickly went viral, alerting authorities who tracked the duo to their villa last Monday evening.
Mr Bailey and his partner were then taken to the police station and questioned, leading the teenager to admit stealing the pills.

Ms Tanti insisted she too was on holiday in Bali, telling Daily Mail Australia: “Viagra is not only used for people with erectile dysfunction, it is also used as a sexual stimulant.”

While on holiday, Mr Bailey shared a photo of him and his friends, including St George footballer Jayden Sullivan, at popular Bali bar Finns Beach Club. He said he was “going wild” (sic) with his friends

The teen admitted to the theft and later signed a peace agreement with the pharmacy (above). He agreed to reimburse the company IDR740,000, the equivalent of AUD$74.
The pharmacy had not made a police report, but officers arranged a meeting between staff and the 19-year-old, during which Mr Bailey was asked to apologise.
The teenager did so and then signed a peace agreement with the pharmacy. He agreed to reimburse the company IDR740,000, the equivalent of AUD$74.
Police asked the Immigration Department to deport Mr Bailey, but he returned to Australia a day later on Tuesday.
Mr Bailey recently shared a photo of him and his friends, including St George footballer Jayden Sullivan, at popular Bali bar Finns Beach Club.
He captioned the photo: “Just some boys going wild (sic).” The image was deleted – the only public acknowledgment by Mr Bailey that something had gone wrong.
