A girl fell from a hotel balcony, prompting an urgent helicopter rescue mission.

A Mounties Care CareFlight helicopter rescue team flew to Wahroonga, on Sydney’s upper north shore, about 11am on Wednesday, following reports of the horror fall.

The CareFlight specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the girl at the scene and then took her by road to Westmead Children’s Hospital.

The little girl is in stable condition.
