A desperate search is under way for a teenager who disappeared after being dropped off at school on Tuesday morning.
They left her at school at 10.40 a.m. in Idalia, a suburb of Townsville in the far north of Queensland, and has not been seen since.
The police are concerned about the safety and well-being of the 16-year-old.

The officers are now requesting public assistance in a desperate attempt to help locate the girl.
They are quite concerned about their welfare because she has a medical condition.
It is described with about 160 cm of height, thin build, blonde hair and green eyes.
