From actress to broadcaster! Gina Rodriguez flashes a peace sign as she heads to the Today Show guest hosting party with Al Roker
Gina Rodriguez woke up early on Monday morning.
Beauty appeared on today Show in New York City as guest host to discuss various topics with Al Roker and Chinelle Jones.
The actress has spoken out about everything from gender pay inequality to portraying a hedgehog to wearing a unicorn costume to work.

Her movie “Ferdinand” will be released December 15 and also features the voice work of WWE superstar John Cena as the titular bull, Anthony Anderson and Bobby Cannavale.
“I play Una the Hedgehog who helps him escape from a bull ranch,” Jenna revealed, before admitting she felt a bit isolated taping for the role in the 20th Century Fox animated feature film.
“I get a little lonely sometimes because you’re so alone,” she said of the recording process. ‘it’s hard. It’s definitely a tough way to go.

Discussing how important it is to be a positive example, Jenna reveals, without naming names, that she turned down one high-profile series because she didn’t like the way Latinas were portrayed on the show.
“I had great role models in my house,” she said, crediting her mother.
She went on to say, “I mean, two amazing giant sisters — one has a private equity firm, the other is a doctor and runs Westside Family Health.”

“Everything that I’ve been blessed (with) as an actress, I’ve been using to raise awareness to help empower women,” said Jenna.
However, she not only spoke out about highlighting gender inequality but also injustice towards Latinos in the United States.
The Deepwater Horizon actress said she intends to use her platform as a visual Latina actress to highlight issues related to Hispanic talent in the entertainment industry, “especially now in our political climate.”

It wasn’t all serious. Gina also took part in the set of Jane the Virgin, the cast participating in a unique weekly tradition.
In fact, on a recent Friday, she wore a bodycon bodysuit around the CW set.
“I work at Jane 14 to 16 hours a day,” she said. We offer a little fun. Friday onesies.
