Ryan Giggs had admitted he can’t wait to see Gareth Bale join a ‘mouthwatering’ front three at Tottenham.
The Welsh star last week sealed a return to Spurs on the basis of a season loan from Real Madrid, seven years after moving to the Spanish capital from north London.
Bale is currently recovering from a knee injury that will keep him out of play until next month, but even without the Welshman, Spurs destroyed Southampton thanks to four goals from Son Heung-min, all of which were assisted by Harry Kane before the England striker finished fifth in the game. 5-2 win.

But Giggs believes Jose Mourinho’s side will take another dimension in the attack when Bale returns.
“It looks delicious – Kane, Son and Bale. They have so many good players at Tottenham. I’m really looking forward to seeing him do it, ”Giggs said.

The 31-year-old captained the Nations League victories over Finland and Bulgaria earlier this month, but looked rusty due to a clear lack of match fitness.
