A driver sparked fury after he parked a huge American-style van in three spaces, including a disabled spot, and then threatened a passer-by who challenged him.

The photograph sparked an avalanche of expletive-filled comments attacking the driver and large American-style trucks, such as the Ford F150 and Dodge Ram.
“These large vehicles should be banned 100 percent,” one person said.

Many recommended reporting the issue to Melbourne’s Yarra City Council using the Snap Send Solve app, saying there is “no excuse” for occupying a disabled space without a permit.
Others suggested owners should face a special license test to drive larger vehicles, saying they should be “classified separately” as motorcycles and heavy vehicles.
While Melbourne’s Yarra City Council has no plans to impose a ban, they are exploring options to discourage drivers from buying giant SUVs.
