Stoke City midfield misfit Giannelli Imbula discusses a move to Lokomotiv Moscow.
The 27-year-old joined Stoke for a £ 18.3 million club record from Porto in 2016, but struggled to impress and was lent to Lecce on the Italian side, who had an option to raise £ 3.5 million to buy.
Lokomotiv, however, is prepared to take on the Congo International for good and he has traveled to Moscow for talks. The transfer field of Russia closes on Saturday.

Imbula only made 28 appearances for Stoke and has another 18 months under contract.
His last match for Stoke was on March 8, 2017 and he spent 2017-18 on the French side of Toulouse and last season in Rayo Vallecano in La Liga in Spain.
He played this campaign in 10 competitions for Lecce in all competitions.
