The first photo of Ghislaine Maxwell in more than three years was made by her good friend and lawyer, Leah Saffian, who has learned DailyMail.com exclusively.
A photo of Maxwell, 57, was published last week in an In-N-Out Burger joint in Los Angeles, the day after DailyMail.com exclusively broke the world that the alleged lady of Epstein had lived with her under the radar in her a mansion in Massachusetts friend Scott Borgerson for the past three years.
The In-N-Out burger joint was published by the New York Post on Thursday after they had obtained it from Saffian, 60 years old.
In the photo Maxwell stares at the camera with a tray of food and two drinks. A dog, conceived as Saffian's dog named Dexter, is standing at her feet.
Maxwell reads a book in the photo, but the title is not visible. The New York Post called the book as, The Book of Honor: The Secret Lives and Deaths or CIA Operatives.
According to the photo's metadata, reviewed by DailyMail.com, the photo is tagged with & # 39; Meadowgate & # 39 ;. Metadata provide users with information about the rights of the photo.
Saffian is president of Meadowgate Media Investments Inc., according to public records.

DailyMail.com has contacted Saffian for comment.
According to the New York Post, the person who took the photo surprised Maxwell, who did not speak publicly about the arrest or suicide of Epstein. Maxwell apparently told a & # 39; spectator & # 39; at the In-N-Out Burger: & # 39; Well, I think this will be the last time I eat here! & # 39;
The original story from the New York Post reported that Maxwell was seen in the burger joint by a & # 39; just & # 39; restaurant that claimed to have recognized her from television and asked: & # 39; Are you who I think you are? & # 39;
Instead of denying it or fleeing, Maxwell reportedly said: & # 39; Yes, I am. & # 39;
Numerous media that followed the story quoted the mystery dinner from the & # 39; s pages of the Post. But in later editions online, the Post inexplicably dropped all mention of the serendipitous discovery of the dinner, saying instead that Maxwell was only surprised to be found.
The release of the photo has been plagued by questions about apparent inconsistencies.
The Mail on Sunday reported this weekend that one of America & # 39; s largest outdoor advertising companies claimed that at least one photo of Maxwell had been changed.
Behind Maxwell is a bus shelter with an advertisement for the movie & # 39; Good Boys & # 39; opened in the US last Friday.
There is only one problem: that specific bus shelter has been showing a poster advertising the Providence St. Joseph Medical Center since July 28 – and continues to do so, according to spokeswoman Carly Zipp of Outfront Media.
& # 39; We think it was Photoshopped & # 39 ;, says Zipp in New York. & # 39; We have no data that this (& # 39; Good Boys & # 39; poster) is posted there. & # 39;
Outfront accurately tracks which posters are displayed exactly at bus stop locations in the US, but Zipp insists that in the bus stop outside the In-N-Out hamburger where Maxwell dined: & # 39; We have no data that & # 39; Good Boys & someday be posted.
& # 39; We have had our installers check the logs and they have even gone out. . to check. There is no evidence that & # 39; & # 39; Good Boys & # 39; & # 39; has ever been posted. & # 39;
Saffian and co-lawyer, Alun Jones QC, a (Peters & Peters) represented Maxwell & # 39; s brother Kevin in front of the Peters & Peters firm in UK courts
Kevin Maxwell, is the brother of Ghislaine and the chosen successor of their deceased father, Robert Maxwell. Together with another brother, Ian Maxwell, the couple were accused of fraud in the mid-1990s after alleged millions of looting of Maxwell's newspaper workers' pension funds to support their debt-rich family business empire. He was acquitted in the case
Maxwell and other alleged co-conspirators are now the focus of federal investigators after Epstein's suicide last week in the Manhattan prison cell.
Attorney General Bill Barr issued a grim warning to Epstein & # 39; s guards. & # 39; I can assure you that this case will continue against anyone who is an accomplice to Epstein. Co-conspirators should not rest easily, & # 39; said Barr. & # 39; The victims deserve justice and they will get it.
Epstein, 66, was accused of arranging girls, some as young as 14, to perform nude massages and other sexual acts, and of paying some of those girls to recruit others, between 2002 and 2005.
Epstein had employees who helped him bring girls, prosecutors have said, although no one has been charged with criminal charges.
Maxwell, 57, described as the & # 39; madam of the house & # 39; by a former housekeeper in the mansion of Epstein in Palm Beach, Florida, has strongly denied any denial.
Saffian & # 39; s social media accounts include photos of her dog Dexter, who also has his own Facebook page and Instagram account. She owns properties in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles and San Diego.
The 60-year-old is from California, according to a newsletter titled & # 39; A Week in Legal London & # 39; in 2017. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1985.
& # 39; She graduated from Amherst College (BA), Pepperdine Law School (JD) and Kings College (LLM). She was called in 1991 at Gray & # 39; s Inn at the Bar of England and Wales. In London she worked as a lawyer in California, lawyer at Peters and Peters Solicitors and then lawyer / tenant in rooms. During this time she prosecuted and defended complex fraud processes and defended in extradition. She currently practices dividing her time in California between San Diego and Los Angeles representing double nationals in the US; American companies establishing foreign trade and offices; and advise / appear as an expert on US / UK legal issues, said the newsletter.

Together with another brother, Ian Maxwell, the couple were accused of fraud in the mid-1990s after allegedly looting millions of Robert Maxwell newspaper staff's pension funds to support their debt-rich family business empire. Kevin and Ian Maxwell were acquitted in the case.
Robert Maxwell died in mysterious circumstances in 1991 after being believed to have fallen overboard from his yacht, the Lady Ghislaine, in the Atlantic Ocean off the Canary Islands.
This weekend Maxwell's sister, Christine Maxwell, was seen by the Daily Telegraph, who checked out at a hotel in Beverly, Massachusetts, near where her sister had lived in Manchester-by-the-Sea.
Maxwell lives with Scott Borgerson, 43, in his secluded oceanfront home at the end of a long private road.
Borgerson continued to deny the relationship or that Maxwell had lived at home.
Borgenson did not respond to DailyMail.com's request at the first contact, but after publication he claimed: & I am traveling abroad for business. Ghislaine Maxwell is not at home and I do not know where she is. & # 39;
An employee who was involved in the extensive renovation on the Manchester site told DailyMail.com today that he had met Maxwell in the house around 2016. & # 39; I had little contact with her, it seems that he wanted to keep her in the background, & said the man who refused to be called.
& # 39; She has become a real homebody and rarely sets off. She is the antithesis of the woman who has traveled extensively and has always been partying with Epstein, & # 39; another source who was familiar with Maxwell's new life exclusively told DailyMail.com.
A source close to the family also confirmed that DailyMail.com had met Maxwell in the Cape Ann region at least three times in busy locations that are popular with the local community.
