GFlip has shared new intimate details about her wedding to Chrishell Stause during the launch of Instagram’s new podcast series, Out of control.

Speaking with host Rudy Jean Rigg on Thursday, the talented musician opened up about his unique approach to wedding celebrations and his heartfelt vows.

GFlip, who is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns, revealed that their wedding plans were often spontaneous, allowing for multiple celebrations.

“If you do it really last minute, a lot of people won’t be able to come, and then they’ll be able to come to the next one. It’s like a birthday party, you celebrate your birthday every year, we think you should celebrate your love every year,” explained GFlip, whose real name is Georgia Claire Flipo.

They continued: “Next year, you know, because a lot of people couldn’t come. There’s a new group of people who are like, “Oh, I want to come.” And then they’re like, “Oh, yeah, an annual wedding.” And you don’t have to think about it too much. Because we never want to stress ourselves out. So we did it at a bar.”

Reflecting on her first impromptu Las Vegas wedding, GFlip shared, ‘This had to be the most planned out, because when Chrishell and I got married in Vegas, my family was so upset that they weren’t invited.

‘It was literally… it was 3 o’clock in the afternoon and we decided that we were going to get married at midnight.

‘My best friend put in a lot of effort and surprised me. We both thought, “Wow, this is the most official wedding ever, but we’re on a world wedding tour.”

Detailing their wedding tour, GFlip said: ‘The first one was in Vegas. The second one was in Palm Springs. This one was in Melbourne.

“Next year I don’t know where the hell we’ll be. We might be in Italy and tonight we decide we’re getting married again, renew our vows and then pick out random people at the bar. We need some witnesses.”

GFlip’s wedding vows are particularly poetic, a reflection of their talent as songwriters.

They shared the touching story of how they and Chrishell met, dressed as skeletons at a Halloween party.

‘I always end my vows by saying, ‘Um, I know I’m not what you imagined my marriage would be like, but maybe we’re just two skeletons, like the day we met.’

This unique theme carries over to their wedding rings and tattoos.

Reflecting on her first impromptu Las Vegas wedding, GFlip shared, 'This had to be the most planned out, because when Chrishell and I got married in Vegas, my family was dirty because they weren't invited.

“That’s why we like skeletons. My wedding ring is a little bit skeleton-like and we got tattoos of ourselves dancing up here,” GFlip revealed.

With a mix of spontaneity, heartfelt poetry, and a touch of humor, GFlip and Chrishell Stause’s wedding celebrations are as unique and memorable as their love story.

As GFlip says, “I always get really poetic. I like vows. I guess I’m a songwriter, so it makes sense. But, you know, it always feels like I’m writing my vows on a plane and I’m always crying in my seat.”

The first episode of Off The Handle with G Flip is now streaming on all podcast platforms, including Spotify.
