Getafe are reportedly willing to discuss extending Mason Greenwood’s stay.
Greenwood is on loan from Manchester United and Getafe are open to a transfer or another loan after his contribution of seven goals this season.
The forward, 22, was charged with attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behavior in October 2022, but the charges and case were dropped in February 2023 when key witnesses withdrew.
New part-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe recently hinted he could return after his loan spell, contrasting with the club’s commitment in the summer to have him restart his career “away from Old Trafford”.
However, Getafe are prepared to explore the possibility of taking Greenwood off United’s hands permanently, according to The times.
