The Getafe coach has said that it will be Manchester United who will have the final say on Mason Greenwood’s future.
José Bordalás was satisfied with the performance of Greenwood, who scored eight goals in 27 games for the Spanish team.
However, the final decision on his future lies with his home club, Manchester United.
Getafe are open to a loan move or another, although recent reports suggested that the Manchester United squad were not opposed to his return.
The forward, 22, was charged with attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behavior in October 2022, but the charges and case were dropped in February 2023 when key witnesses withdrew.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe had recently left the door open for Greenwood’s return to Old Trafford.
Greenwood has not played for United since January 2022 when he was arrested

Getafe coach Bordalás said: “In the end it is his club that decides and the boy’s intentions regarding his future also count.”
“But I can say that we are happy with his behavior and his performance.”
Reports suggest United want £40m for the striker despite only having one year left on his Red Devils contract at the end of this season.
European heavyweights such as Barcelona and Juventus have shown interest in acquiring Greenwood, with a move to Barcelona being a “dream” for Greenwood.
Greenwood is a long-term target for the Catalan giants and reports in late December suggested they were weighing up a £40m move for the American exile.
Greenwood has not made LaLiga shine by any means but on occasion he has shown flashes of quality.
The LaLiga club could look to extend his loan, although Man United are reportedly looking to retain him or cash in and sell the 22-year-old.
