Sweden’s Prince Julian showed off his cheeky side on Monday as he wandered around a new playground named after the three-year-old royal boy.
And, as the young prince ran ahead of his parents, slid down the slide, hid in a little wooden house and stuck out his tongue, he bore a striking resemblance to the energetic Prince Louis, who delighted royal fans this weekend while dancing at Buckingham. Palace balcony during Trooping the Color.
While the third child of Princess Sofia of Sweden, 39, and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, 45, is three years younger than Prince Louis, six, of the Princes of Wales, Prince Julian oozed the same youthful confidence at the Opening of the Naturum Getterön playground in Varberg on the west coast of Sweden.
Dressed in a miniature Ralph Lauren sweater and a pair of shorts, the Swedish prince ran into the playground once the banner was cut down.
His amused parents watched and encouraged him by clapping as he tried the different activities.

Prince Julian, wearing a yellow Ralph Lauren sweater and beige shorts, hit the slide and was clearly having fun.
Proving to be a curious child and a born performer, Prince Julian looked through a huge telescope and picked up a microphone in the bandstand area of the playground.
As he smiled widely, grimaced and stuck out his tongue, Prince Julian’s playful and slightly cheeky nature came to the fore.
Indeed, watching the expressive young royal perform enthusiastically, royal fans will no doubt recall King Charles’s birthday celebrations last year, when Prince Louis scrunched up his face and spread his arms to pose as a jet plane.
At the playground opening, Prince Sofia wore a matching floral skirt and top with white sneakers, while Prince Carl Philip swapped his suit pants for casual beige chinos.
Prince Julian’s parents looked happy and relaxed as they watched their son play and helped him navigate the children’s assault course, with Princess Sofia even sitting in the sand at one point.

The family toured the grounds of the new playground and stopped to cut the colorful ribbon in the colors of the Swedish flag to officially open it.
