A German tourist is at risk of having his penis amputated after a 24-hour sex marathon of ecstasy and Viagra with his wife on vacation left him in septic shock.
The 50-year-old man is in serious condition in hospital in Grosseto after having sex under the influence of drugs for around 24 hours.
The two reportedly had the “crazy” sex session after taking MDMA in their Castel del Piano apartment.
Local media report that after the session, the man then felt seriously ill and showed up at Misericordia Hospital on May 11.
The marathon sex session is believed to have resulted in necrosis of the man’s penis and scrotum
It is believed that his wife accompanied him to the hospital.
More than a week after his arrival, his condition has been described as “serious”.
He is currently in intensive care and his prognosis remains confidential. The couple have not been named.
According to local media, the septic shock caused necrosis of the man’s penis and scrotum.
