Georginio Wijnaldum has reportedly made his move to Paris Saint-Germain official after signing a contract with the French giants, with his summer change coming into effect on the expiry of his Liverpool deal at the end of the month.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side dealt a dramatic blow to the Dutch international, who was set to leave from Anfield for Barcelona, only for the Catalans to be ridiculed by their French rivals.
PSG offered more than double the salary Barca offered a lack of funds and after a phone call with Pochettino, Wijnaldum dropped plans to move to Spain and turned to Paris as an alternative option.

And according to the guard, the 30-year-old has now signed a three-year contract to join the Parisians and the move will be sealed subject to medical treatment.
Wijnaldum bids farewell to Liverpool after five years at Anfield. The Dutchman won the Premier League and Champions League during his time at Merseyside, playing 237 games for Jurgen Klopp.
Meanwhile, Barca has turned their attention to capturing Memphis Depay. The Dutch international has long been a target of Ronald Koeman and, like Wijnaldum, his contract will expire this season.
