Georgia safety Javon Bullard shared a moment of joy with his family during the second night of the NFL Draft, yelling ‘I’m f—ing Packer!’ after receiving the important call from Green Bay.
Bullard’s draft party erupted after he shared the news, and he hugged each of his parents shortly after.
He then shared a kiss with his girlfriend.
“Words can’t even describe how I feel right now,” he said. 13 Connor Hines of WMAZ Friday night.
“You dream about this moment, and even when this moment is here, it still doesn’t seem real.”
Javon Bullard was thrilled to get a call from the Green Bay Packers on Friday night.
Bullard runs the 40-yard dash during the NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium on March 1.
Then he added: “We’re trying to bring a Lombardi back to Green Bay.”
Bullard, who played three years at Georgia in college, was selected 58th overall by Green Bay.
Early in the second round, the team selected Texas A&M linebacker Edgerrin Cooper before selecting USC running back MarShawn Lloyd and Missouri linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper in the third.
The Packers began their draft on Thursday by selecting Arizona offensive tackle Jordan Morgan 25th overall.
Bullard was ESPN Number one safety in the draft.
