A restaurant in Georgia called the police at a dinner party of about 25 people celebrating a woman’s 30th birthday after refusing to distribute the check for more than $ 2,200 for the large group.

TikTok videos shared by a woman named Key showed the awkward exchange that unfolded when the large group celebrated for her sister – Quandresha Brinkley – on March 10 at the Louisiana Bistreaux Seafood Kitchen in East Point, Georgia.

Key told DailyMail.com that Brinkley had pre-booked and talked to restaurant staff about what to do to arrange payment.

“She said she should have fewer credit cards, but make sure people have cash,” Key told Brinkley of the eatery’s manager.

Police were called to a group of 25 at the Louisiana Bistreaux Seafood Kitchen in East Point, Georgia on March 10, after staff refused to share the party’s check.

Video shows the group sitting in the restaurant as the police gather nearby. Several people can be seen talking to a manager in the restaurant explaining that she could take drinks off the bill but was unable to split the bill.

Key even pans all over the receipt, with a staggering bill of $ 2,204.30. She also shows an officer who seems to be laughing at the scene as the manager tries to explain the situation with the drinks to the enraged party.

The sister said that the restaurant staff were really not doing their best to celebrate. Although dinner was due to start around 6pm, the food hadn’t even arrived at the group by the time Key arrived around 8pm, she claimed.

“Most people complained,” the nail technician. claimed. “Nobody had any food.”

Key admitted there were additional people attending the meeting, but those people were away from the party and paid into their own separate account, she said.

And even when food came out, “two or three plates” that didn’t belong to anyone came out, Key claimed. She said the check had to be returned a few times when the dishes showed up on the bill.

“The bill has been paid,” said Key. ‘Her [Brinkley’s] friends brought other friends and they were the ones running. My sister paid money from her pocket. She did make a reservation and talked about splitting the bill beforehand. ‘

Key said the police were called to the scene “long before” the bill came for all the food. The nail technician added that officers there said she should post about the incident on social media.

He said, “Go on social media and tell them about the restaurant. Go to social media about how they treated you,” Key recalls.
