A five-year-old boy has been orphaned after his father allegedly murdered his mother before setting fire to their house and ending his own life.
Georgia Lyall, 32, was shot in the head at her home in South Guildford, Perth, at around 10:40am on Thursday in an alleged murder-suicide.
At 11:30 a.m., a police officer found the body of his former partner and Rebels bike nominee Luke Noormets, 33, inside a burned-out unit in Innaloo.
Detectives believe Noormets ended his own life with a self-inflicted injury before the fire tore through the property.

Now, a close friend has revealed that the child they shared has been left without parents.
“We all feel powerless after the tragic and senseless murder of such a beautiful, powerful, intelligent and loving mother, daughter, sister and friend,” her close friend Emma Taylor wrote in a post. GoFundMe Page.
‘Georgia was murdered by her ex, the father of her child. She then committed suicide, leaving her five-year-old son orphaned.
“Anyone who has had the privilege of meeting and knowing Georgia could tell you what an amazing woman she was.”
Another friend of the murdered mother “deserved so much more than this.”
“Our friendship is something that is very precious to me, our beautiful children were two peas in a pod and you just understood me,” Sarah Bell wrote on Facebook.
“You worked so hard for your baby and gave her the most amazing life full of love and memories.”
At a press conference Thursday afternoon, Chief Criminal Division Detective Inspector Dave Gorton He said police quickly identified the link between the two properties by analyzing phone records.

Det-Insp Gorton said police were investigating whether it was a murder-suicide case.
Detective Gorton said Noormets was believed to have died of a self-inflicted injury and officers were not looking for anyone else in connection with the two deaths.
“Every murder is tragic, it is unfortunate that these things happen,” he added.
Noormets was known to police and received a seven-year prison sentence in 2019 for a horrifying crime that a judge described as “cold-blooded torture.” The West informed.
He was found to have lured a drug dealer to an address in Ashfield on June 12, 2017, before beating him over the head and putting him in a car.

Noormets then took him to a warehouse in Bayswater where he was tortured for 13 hours.
He was found guilty of beating the victim, drowning him, and then setting the man on fire.
At the time of his arrest, Noormets requested bail, telling the court that he was no longer involved with the rebels and needed to be home to care for his partner, who was expecting a child.
The request was denied.
An investigation into the two deaths is ongoing.
