Georgia Love shares ‘leaked images’ from Channel Seven’s Melbourne post-earthquake editorial staff – as she returns to social media after ‘racist’ video scandal

Georgia Love has only just returned to social media after a ‘racist’ Instagram video scandal saw her dumped from her on-air role with Channel Seven.

And on Wednesday, the former Bachelorette star couldn’t resist posting “leaked images” from the Channel Seven editorial staff in Melbourne.

The 33-year-old, who has been demoted to the production desk, shared a scene from the popular show The Office, comparing it to how the Seven team reacted to the news of the Victoria earthquake on Wednesday.

In the scene from the popular US version of the show, Steve Carell tells his colleagues to “keep your fucking cool.”

Georgia captioned her post: “Images leaked from the editors of Seven News Melbourne yesterday at 9:15 am.”

Earlier this month, the news reporter was pulled from her Channel Seven broadcasts and moved to the production desk just days after she posted a “racist” video to Instagram.

She removed the video an hour later, apologizing for causing “offense,” but denying at the time that the post contained racial “insinuation.”

Love also posted a similar “joke” about pets and Chinese restaurants in 2013.

After a workplace investigation, Seven warned staff via email that Georgia had been “advised” with immediate effect and reassigned to an off-camera position.

A spokesperson for Seven told Daily Mail Australia: ‘We have addressed this matter internally and disciplinary action has been taken.

“Seven does not condone this inappropriate behavior and all our employees have the right to work in a safe, nurturing workplace, free from prejudice.”

Georgia is said to be “devastated” and “deeply sorry for her actions,” and she personally apologized to her colleagues, The Herald Sun reports.

“I want to apologize for an inappropriate post on my personal social media account this week and for an old post that has resurfaced,” Georgia said in an email from the staff.

“I am deeply sorry for the pain I have caused and in particular for offending the Asian community. It certainly wasn’t my intention.

“My posts were inappropriate and offensive. There is no excuse in any forum for perpetuating racist stereotypes.

“I am determined to move forward, learn and grow in my new role and I hope I can regain your trust over time.”
