Former bachelorette Georgia Love has urged women never to settle for toxic men.

As Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson’s tumultuous relationship continued to unfold during Wednesday’s episode of Married At First Sight, the 32-year-old voiced her views on Twitter.

Referring to Melissa’s comments that Bryce behaves differently “behind closed doors,” Georgia said you should “never stand with a man who” embarrasses “or” upsets you. “

‘I am really afraid that young women will be watching Married At First Sight this year. Please know this isn’t okay, ”Georgia began.

‘You don’t have to stand behind a man who only makes you happy behind closed doors. You don’t need to be with a man who embarrasses, upsets, and abandons you. Ever. Not even once, ”she continued.

Throughout the season, viewers have quickly labeled 31-year-old Bryce a ‘manipulator’.

On Sunday’s episode, Bryce humiliated his bride during the engagement ceremony by revealing that he had initially voted to leave the experiment, before finally deciding to stay.

“Please know this isn’t OK”: In a tweet, Georgia referred to Melissa’s comments when she said at Wednesday’s dinner that Bryce behaves differently “behind closed doors.”

Bryce later defended writing leave, saying he didn’t want to break up with Melissa, 31, but instead wanted the couple to leave the “ toxic environment ” of the experiment.

The other couples lashed out at him, citing a series of incidents in which he repeatedly showed disdain for Melissa’s feelings.

On Monday one Change.org A petition also began circulating demanding that Channel Nine issue an apology for airing ‘triggering’ scenes featuring Bryce and Melissa.

The petition, which received 2,500 signatures in less than 24 hours, also calls on Nine to acknowledge her alleged ‘failure to act as a duty of care’ towards Melissa.

This season of Married at First Sight Australia features a couple, Melissa and Bryce, who share an inordinate number of portraits of [troubling] signals that are not properly handled by the network, ‘the petition states.

There is clearly a breach of duty of care towards Melissa during the filming of the show, which allows her to remain in a toxic and dangerous environment with her partner for the ‘benefit’ of the network. ‘

“ She’s subject to gaslighting, emotional manipulation, isolation, and myriad other textbook signals of a controlling relationship, ” the petition claims, adding that the scenes are “ incredibly triggering and stressful to watch. ”

It continues: ‘This petition is for the Nine Network to acknowledge and apologize for letting Melissa go through this and also to air such a horrible relationship on TV without doing anything to show that the relationship clearly not healthy. ‘

Meanwhile, the drama intensified on Wednesday when co-star Alana Lister claimed that Bryce had told her husband Jason Engler that he would be “ single ” by the end of the experiment because he didn’t feel a connection to Melissa.
