George St, Sydney: Dramatic NSW Police Arrest Near Dymocks Building
A group of young men have been dramatically arrested in the heart of Sydney’s CBD after police chased them through the city.
Officers arrived at the Dymocks building on George Street at around 2:20pm Tuesday after receiving reports that a group of youths had threatened a customer at knifepoint.
Police chased the group after they fled the scene, heading south on George Street.
Officers later arrested about six people, including two men, two women and two minors, at the Town Hall station around 2:50 p.m.
“This is not a standard shoplifting situation,” an officer told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday.

Three teenagers were seen sitting in handcuffs outside the council station opposite Woolworths.
The rest of the group were strip-searched outside the Vodaofone and ShareTea stores in the Queen Victoria Building.
