Sydnie Christmas appeared to be ignoring BGT's grooming allegations as she celebrated her audition success with her friends and family on Saturday.

She has been at the center of the latest row surrounding Britain’s Got Talent.

But Sydnie Christmas appeared to be ignoring the allegations as she celebrated her audition success with her friends and family on Saturday.

The singer, 28, wowed judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli with her incredible performance of Tomorrow from the musical Annie at the premiere.

And Amanda Holden was so impressed with the performance that she pressed the golden buzzer, sending Sydnie straight to the semi-finals.

However, despite revealing her dreams of working in the West End and her current role as a receptionist, viewers quickly discovered that Sydnie had had a great career on stage.

But she didn’t seem bothered by the backlash as she took to her Instagram to show that she was celebrating the airing of her episode with a party.

She shared a video of her friend wearing a t-shirt with a picture of Sydnie’s face at the audition, which read: “That’s my best friend.”

He turned around to show the back of his shirt in an unflattering selfie and said: ‘Sydnie Christmas to win!’

In other clips from the night, Sydnie could be seen doing celebratory shots with a group of loved ones, as they all sang Tomorrow.

There was even a custom BGT cake, made to look like the stage, complete with red fondant curtains, the four X’s and a giant golden bell.

There was also a photo of Sydnie singing her heart out on the front of the cake, with the words: “You have two minutes to change your life.”

Sydnie’s large group of friends and family gathered in the living room to watch her audition and cheered when she won the Golden Buzzer, while she burst into tears.

It comes after the show was accused of being fixed after Sydnie was revealed to be an experienced musical theater performer.

After the performance, fans flocked to X, with one writing: “Always good to see an underdog on @BGT like Sydnie Christmas.” My God. A simple Google search… what the hell!’

While others wrote: ‘Come on, Sydnie Christmas is already a pro’: ‘Sydnie Christmas has starred in Starlight Express in Bochum, Germany, and Lazarus at the King’s Cross Theater in London. And she played Rizzo in a Grease stage show. So there’s no rookie’: ‘Sydnie Christmas, Starlight Express. Just a quick Google search.’

Sydnie has worked on cruise ships, including the Royal Caribbean International, where she played Rizzo in the musical Grease.

She made her London debut as one of the lead vocals in Lazarus, set to the music of David Bowie, at the King’s Cross Theater and shared a backstage snap with Hollywood actor Woody Harrelson after he attended the show.

She then appeared in a German production of Starlight Express in 2019 as Belle the Bar Car.

At a press event, both Simon Cowell and Amanda thought Sydnie had what it took to win it all.

When asked who would win the show, Cowell told reporters: “I think it’s Sydnie, yeah.”

“It seems like a distant memory now,” Sydnie told the Mail. ‘I auditioned in January. I feel like my neck has been in my mouth ever since.

‘I’ve wanted to do this forever. Being on stage, entertaining, acting and singing. I went onto Britain’s Got Talent hoping that if I managed to get through it, I’d be able to give it a try.

‘I’ve been auditioning for many years and I thought, I don’t have much to lose now. I thought, damn, let’s try it, and then everything worked out so well that I wasn’t expecting it at all.’
