George Clooney has revealed that watching ER again with his wife Amal has turned out to be disastrous for their relationship due to his characters’ many dalliances.
The actor, 59, joked that Dr. Doug Ross were disapproved of by his wife, who continues to wonder when his character will ‘settle down’.
At a reunion for Stars In The House, Clooney said, “ This has been a very, very disastrous thing for me because I have been doing all the terrible things I have as Dr. Ross had done, forgot! ‘

George was joined at the reunion by his former co-stars Julianna Marguiles, Anthony Edwards, Noah Wyle and Gloria Reuben.
It has now been 11 years since the final episode of the hit medical drama series ER aired on NBC.

On Thursday, Clooney and Julianna, who were once one of the hottest on-screen couples of the 1990s, joined some of their former co-stars for a virtual reunion on the web.
Laura Innes, Goran Visnjic, Ming-Na Wen, CCH Pounder and Alex Kingston also attended the reunion event.
During the chat, the show’s lead couple were united not to be in favor of a possible ER revival due to the high bar set during the original show.

Clooney didn’t hesitate to express his deference to the cast and crew, while at the same time expressing concern about the idea of an ER revival.
When you watch the show, it’s hard to say we could [again] at the level we did, ‘Clooney, shared via TV Line.
‘Because boy, I actually kind of watched it because my wife watched it, which is really strange, and I have to say, it’s such a great television.’

Ming-Na Wen, who played Jing-Mei Chen on the series, added, “I would love to reboot just to deal with this group of people.”
The two-time Oscar winner also made it a point to bring up the season’s Love’s Labor Lost episode, in which Dr. Greene (Edwards) misdiagnoses pre-eclampsia as mild cystitis for a pregnant woman, causing her life and the life of her unborn child in danger.
The actor, who plays Dr. Ross played from 1994-1999, calling the episode “as good a TV piece as I’ve ever seen” before confessing, “It’s hard to catch lightning again.”
Margulies, 54, agreed with Clooney, saying, ‘You can’t catch lightning twice in a bottle. I think you should leave what was so beautiful and move on because it just feels cheap … it would make it cheaper for me. ‘

In a recent interview, Margulies revealed that she and Clooney were in love while filming the show.
