The Hollywood hunks visited Ristorante Da Ivo in Venice with Amal, 46, and Brad’s girlfriend Ines de Ramon, 34, on Saturday, a day before the red carpet premiere of their Apple TV+ film Wolfs.

George, 63, took his hosting duties seriously as he took orders from Apple TV executives who were also on their way to lunch.

“George took over running the restaurant for about half an hour. He went around to all of our tables pretending to take orders,” said one member of the Apple TV group. People.

‘The menu that had been prepared had a very long and complicated explanation for each dish… but George did his interpretation and it was absolutely hilarious. He had us all crying with laughter.

The restaurant is a regular spot for George when he visits Venice and he previously visited with Amal in August last year.

George and Brad, 60, even posed for a photo with restaurant staff after enjoying a three-course meal.

The group dined on fiori di zucca in pastella (breaded zucchini flowers stuffed with mozzarella), porcini mushrooms and truffle risotto, tagliata di manzo (sliced beef) and paccheri pasta, as well as red and white wine.

The A-list acting duo had the Venice Film Festival in the palm of their hands on Sunday when they premiered their new adventure film, Wolfs.

In the film, they play crime “clean-up” specialists who are unexpectedly hired for the same job: disposing of a dead body in a hotel room.

George joked of Brad, who is three years his junior: “He’s 74, so he’s very lucky to be able to work at this age.”

And he joked about their reunion: “The restraining order expired. No, it was just cash, money will do.”

The duo were reportedly paid $35 million each to star in the adventure film and had insisted on releasing it in theaters.

But Apple’s creators changed their minds and the film, which according to sources close to the film cost up to 200 million dollars in total, will now only be released in US cinemas for one week.

In all other territories it will be streamed directly, making it easily the most expensive TV movie ever made.

Apple’s about-face follows a string of expensive films made by the streaming service, including Napoleon, Killers of the Flower Moon and Argylle, which all flopped in theaters.

George denied his fee was as high as $35 million, saying the actual figure was “many, many millions below” that amount.

But he added that it was a shame how it had all worked out.

He said: “We would have liked to, we wanted it, and Brad and I gave back part of our salaries to make it happen. We’ve had some bumps in the road, and that happens.

“It’s a shame, of course it’s a shame, but a lot of people are going to see the film and we’re going to release it in a few hundred cinemas. It would have been nice to be able to release it more widely.”

He said the economics of streaming are still being “figured out” but added: “We’re figuring out how it works. We need Apple and Amazon and they need Sony or Warner, who have been doing this for a hundred years.”
