Emma McVey, the wife of Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle, has been rushed to hospital.
After a family holiday, the influencer – who shares Chester, five, and Primrose, three with Gaz – was quickly admitted for medical attention after landing back in the UK.
The mother-of-two took to Instagram on Friday and shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed, hooked up to an IV, and explained what was going on.
Emma wrote alongside it: ‘I didn’t see myself coming back here anytime soon, but here I am… so glad we came back to the UK when we did, so glad I was hospitalized then.’
MailOnline has reached out to Emma McVey’s representatives for comment.
The model underwent open-heart surgery in January to repair three holes in her heart and her triscupid valve — which controls blood flow between the right atrium and right ventricle.

After her open-heart surgery in January, Emma suffered a major setback when she suffered a collapsed lung, causing surgical emphysema, a rare lung condition in which air gets trapped under the skin.
However, the beauty quickly recovered and six days later she was allowed to return home to her family.
Last April, Emma revealed she was skinny embarrassed due to a medical condition she kept hidden from everyone, including her husband Gary Beadle.
The model was suffering from seizures, exhaustion and fainting due to undiagnosed ulcerative colitis, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease, when she married former Geordie Shore star Gaz in June 2021.
Emma, who was also awaiting heart surgery at the time, admitted to secretly experiencing abdominal cramps and bleeding on her wedding day.
The influencer explained how the exhaustion had put her to bed at 10pm that day, but she believed it was a symptom of her heart condition.
Emma finally went to see her doctor two months after the wedding, but it wasn’t until she was admitted to the ER that she was diagnosed with the condition.
She said she believed the condition was brought on by the stress of discovering she needed heart surgery, the wedding, and the move, all in a short space of time.

Emma was diagnosed with three holes in her heart just before the couple’s wedding day in July 2021 and was due to have surgery in November 2022, but it was postponed due to her ulcerative colitis medication.
In an update to her followers, Emma wrote: “Long story short, we’ve finally found out I have three large holes in my heart and damaged tissue causing my blood to flow in the wrong direction…
“The right side of my heart is now enlarged and weak, along with high blood pressure in my lungs.
She continued, “This has all gotten much worse because they should have been closed when I was a kid, unfortunately no one checked my heart even when I was having seizures and being diagnosed with epilepsy or passed out like it was a hobby.”
“I definitely shouldn’t have carried any babies while they were there. They are baffled how I made it through the birth with Primrose and had it not been a C-section it could have been a completely different story.
“Now I’m waiting for open-heart surgery because the holes just can’t be closed with device closure.”
