A vicious and notorious child molester has been jailed after filming himself sexually assaulting children as young as 10, but could be released in just three years.

Geoffrey William Moyle, 47, of Adelaide pleaded guilty to sexually abusing the children – between the ages of 10 and 12 – while working as a foreign aid worker in Cambodia between 2002 and 2005.

Moyle, aka ‘Waka’, who was one of the first to film child abuse and upload it online for others to see, was searched for 20 years.

He was hailed by fellow pedophiles as the man who “wrote the Bible on child abuse” and had been instrumental in creating the online exploitative business. the advertiser reported.

The 47-year-old was sentenced to eight years and nine months in prison on Friday.

He was also sentenced to nine months in prison for possession of child exploitation material in Australia.

Moyle was given a four-year, six-month non-parole, but Judge Paul Cuthbertson took into account the two years he’d already spent in custody — meaning he could be released on parole in 2024.

The videos he shared were all filmed by himself and put together into “collections” for others to view online.

It is known that the girls he abused were child sex slaves held in Cambodian brothels.

He was first investigated by the AFP in 2019 after he posted an interest in young Asian girls on a well-known child abuse website.

Further investigation revealed that he was wanted by both Cambodian police and US Homeland Security.

He never showed his face or spoke in his sickening homemade videos, but was eventually caught when authorities matched a watch, shoes and a tumor on his thigh with Moyle’s.

Earlier this year, one of his victims demanded $84,000 in damages, which Moyle agreed to pay.

Judge Cuthbertson said Moyle was involved in the “most despicable sexual activity” against children.

“You knew that by posting their images to the World Wide Web, you would perpetuate their shame and jeopardize their future,” he said.

“You did this for your own pleasure and without regard for the welfare of the children you abused.”

The judge also said Moyle had shown remorse, was at low risk of wrongdoing again and was a “loving father, son and husband.” ABC reported.

AFP Detective Gail McLure spoke out of court after the conviction and said the victims Moyle abused will be affected forever.

“The girls who have been abused by this perpetrator are now young women, no matter how their lives have been affected, their youth has been stolen,” she said.

“I want to warn anyone who wants to hunt vulnerable children.”

“The AFP and its partners will come for you no matter when the abuse happened and wherever you are in the world – there is nowhere to hide.”
