The latest trend sweeping social media is that the most avant-garde influencers are showing off their holiday looks at none other than airport security checkpoints.

As the owner of a luxury department store in Manhasset, she stays on top of marketing trends, sharing an Instagram dump of various vacation looks with the caption, “Traveling with Chanel F24.”

The “aesthetic” photos show a TSA-style container with several Chanel outfits, including a Chanel shoe, bag and top combo artfully arranged on the iconic grey tray.

But the trend isn’t limited to Instagram, as TikToker Margot Lee also revealed her strange purchase.

She explained the trend to her followers in a video captioned: ‘Keep watching to see how this made it to our HOMEPAGE.’

“The weirdest thing I’ve ever ordered in my life just arrived in the mail,” he said in the video posted last week.

The TikToker, who owns a magazine business, plans to use the tray for product photography.

“The idea is to create different vignettes with the travel diary as the protagonist and create different identities of people,” he explained.

“It was surprisingly difficult to find,” he added.

His followers seem to be getting on board with this strange trend, with one gushing: “Marketing genius!”

“You are so creative, this is a very fun idea,” wrote another user in the comments.

“I’m obsessed,” said a third. “This is a vision.”

Piper Taich, another social media influencer, even shared a step-by-step tutorial for achieving the perfect TSA bin aesthetic.

“This is how I took these cute photos for Pinterest, and no, it wasn’t by holding up the line at TSA,” she joked.

The tub is from Amazon and she uses it to store cleaning supplies when she’s not taking photos, Piper revealed.

“If you’re wondering what the point of this is, it’s fun and it’s for art,” Piper explained. “It’s a really fun way to express my love for fashion, thrift stores, and art direction.”
