Gemma Collins says she is leaving the UK "forever" because she "can't take it anymore" days after showing off her weight loss

Gemma Collins has said she is leaving the UK “forever” because she “can’t take it anymore” days after showing off her weight loss.

The 43-year-old reality star shared a selfie of herself and her fiancé Rami Hawash in swimsuits.

At that moment, she closed her eyes and smiled contentedly as she rested her head on Rami’s shoulder, fully awake.

The couple are enjoying a break and relaxation in Benidorm and took the photo while enjoying a jacuzzi.

Gemma captioned the post: ‘Call me MACARANA. I’m leaving the UK for good. I can’t take it anymore.’

This comes just two days after the former TOWIE star shared her recent weight loss with her Instagram fans with a video of herself wearing a pair of stretchy leggings.

Gemma has been on a quest to lose weight in recent months after admitting she was afraid of becoming “an overweight mother” amid her fertility issues.

On Instagram, she flaunted her slimmer waist, while wearing a pair of quirky black and gold leggings with a black bra.

Gemma attributed her success to the ‘fibre first’ diet as she uploaded a video showing how her pants now fit.

In the Reel, she joked: ‘When I put these on, as the night goes on they fall down.

‘So what can be done to keep them in place? I don’t know if you can put something there (on the side) to keep them in place. Thanks.’

Posting the spontaneous clip to her 2.2million followers, Gemma wrote: “Thanks to @stevebennettmhp #fibrefirstguys get on board with this, it takes time, slowly, slowly, slowly, then BOOM. #fibrefirst #linkinbio follow @stevebennettmhp @healthresultsofficial.”

This comes after Gemma explained her fears about the practicalities of being a mother while at her heaviest.

Gemma has been on a quest to lose weight in recent months after admitting she was afraid of becoming “an overweight mother” amid her fertility issues.

Gemma, who suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), said she wants to be “the best version of herself” if she has children.

She claimed that she has reversed her PCOS and will begin trying for a baby with Rami in September.

The star recently told how her new diet guru Steve Bennett has helped her “heal” after years of fertility issues.

Steve, who has released a new book called The Fibre First diet, has transformed her lifestyle and helped her drop from a size 26 to a size 20, which in turn she says has “cured” her condition.

Gemma explained OK! Magazine In June, why I didn’t want to be an overweight mother.

She said: ‘I have nothing against overweight mothers, but I want to run and play with my son.

‘I want to have as much energy as possible for my child and be the best version of myself for my child.’

On her fertility struggles, Gemma added: “I’ve always realised that nothing has ever been easy for me. I’ve always been one to fight for it!”

‘The same thing happens with my fertility and I share it because many people who are going through the same thing come to me to help.’

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common condition that affects the functioning of a woman’s ovaries. It can cause a woman to have difficulty getting pregnant as a result of irregular or no ovulation.

She recently told MailOnline: ‘Since working with Steve he has reversed my PCOS, I don’t have it anymore so I’m one step closer to having a baby.

‘I went to a fertility clinic and obviously I was going to start my fertility journey in September but I’m not sure I need to do fertility now because I’m hoping to do it naturally, plus my thyroid is better, I don’t have an underactive thyroid anymore.

‘People have bullied me for my weight, I’ve been bullied terribly for it for years and it’s like, I can’t help it, I’m active…

“But now I don’t need to do vigorous exercise, this is the first diet where you’re adding and not subtracting.”

Steve added: ‘With PCOS the root cause is a dysregulation of sugar and putting fibre first helps Gemma regulate her sugar intake and so that would be the logical step to take to get rid of PCOS.’

Gemma has suffered from polycystic ovary syndrome since she was 28, when she started gaining weight.

The NHS says PCOS cannot be cured, but symptoms can be managed.

Gemma has been open about her past fertility struggles and has previously… suffered three miscarriages.

She suffered her first heartbreaking loss in 2012 and found the strength to speak about it publicly eight years later, in 2020.

The reality star didn’t realise she was pregnant at the time and said the baby “died in front of her” after giving birth at home on her landing.

Gemma suffered her second pregnancy loss in 2020 during the Covid pandemic and tragically just months later, Gemma suffered a devastating third miscarriage in July 2020 after falling pregnant with her ex-boyfriend James Argent’s baby.
