Gemma Collins reveals her beloved mom Joan, 65, has been rushed to hospital with pneumonia amid the coronavirus pandemic
Gemma Collins has revealed that her mother Joan has been taken to hospital with pneumonia.
Gemma also revealed that Joan is at a higher risk of contracting an infection because she suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, especially in the current climate as the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread.

Gemma first revealed that Joan had been hospitalized when she shared her hand on the IV, along with a caption, “Love u Mum.”
The star then shared another snapshot of the IV, with the caption, “Thanks to all the nurses who helped my mom, she’s had pneumonia and is recovering.
“Thanks NHS, very stretched now, my mom has rheumatoid arthritis and is at high risk of infection.” [sic]

Worryingly, the TOWIE star took to Instagram Stories to share a snapshot of her mom’s hand connected to an IV,

Gemma has previously spoken about her mother’s health problems and was hospitalized for pneumonia last year.
She previously described her mother’s health struggles as “two years of hell,” telling The Sun, “I always tried to be very strong, so when I was with her I was happy, happy, like,” Come on mama , you’re fine! ”
“Then I left the house, got in my car and cried for hours.
“I called my friends and said ‘I just don’t know what I can do to help my mom’ it was the worst.”

She roared “Covid-19, Covid-19, Operation Covid-19” as they prepared to hit the road and get hungry.
Gemma said: ‘We are sensible, I called on @thisgirlcanorganise. I didn’t want to get involved. We are going to do some shopping.
“We don’t take risks. The message I want to convey is that everyone becomes sensible, does what the government says …
“Wear gloves, use gel, wash hands, keep away from anyone with coughs or flu.”
