Meanwhile, Gorka has also become a judge on the Spanish version of Strictly Come Dancing, in which he will face a grueling filming schedule in Madrid.
The goal of having a Kardashian-style reality show has become the latest trend among stars, but Gemma revealed that viewers should not expect perfection from their family series.
Unlike the Kardashians, the mother of two keeps her schedule open and honest, as she admitted that they still have dogs pooping in the yard and kids running to school.
They have no butlers or nannies behind their four-year-old daughter Mia or six-month-old son Thiago, and food still has to be put on the table every night.
Speaking about the new show, Gemma said: “I’ve had mums message me saying how grateful they are that it’s not like a big glamor team with hair and make-up, an ‘everything is perfect’ type show.
‘We didn’t want it to be polished, flawless and perfect because that’s not what everyday life is. It’s chaos; It’s burning the toast in the morning, the dog pooping in the garden while I try to feed the birds, the manic rush through school, Gorka packing his bags to go to work for a few days.
“It’s very relatable that most families do that kind of nonsense. And unless you’re a Kardashian with butlers and nannies and chefs, which is amazing, life isn’t like that. It’s the complete opposite. “I think that’s why people liked it so much.”
The series, which will air later this year on UKTV’s free-to-air entertainment channel W and streaming service UKTV Play, will see Gemma in the final days of her maternity leave as she prepares to return to work in April after giving birth. to Thiago in July of last year.

Adam Collings, channel director at W, said: “It’s fantastic news that we’re getting a second helping of Gemma and Gorka on W.
“Our viewers have loved getting to know the family behind closed doors, so I’m delighted they can continue to do so in this new series which promises more candid and honest moments.”
