Gavin and Stacey’s Mathew Horne was finally spotted on set filming the upcoming Christmas special on Thursday.
Mathew, who plays Gavin in the hit BBC comedy, also met for the first time with James Corden, who plays Smithy, following their famous fallout.
The actor immediately returned to filming when he was seen filming a bizarre bike accident with his on-screen wife, Joanna Page, aka Stacey.
Rob Brydon (Uncle Bryn) was also seen back on set filming scenes for the second time in a row.
Corden, who directed the shoot and has yet to begin filming himself, was spotted chatting to Mathew on his first day back.

Mathew was involved in filming bike accident scenes for the comedy’s Christmas special.
Rob Brydon (Uncle Bryn) was also spotted back on set with Melanie Walters (Gwen) on Wednesday.
Known as ‘Gavalar’ and ‘Smithster’, there didn’t seem to be any tension between James and Mathew on set, despite their long-standing feud.
James and Mathew continued to work together as comedy partners on projects including the critically panned film Lesbian Vampire Killers after Gavin And Stacey ended.
Hoping to make it as a television duo, they also hosted the comedy show Horne and Corden in 2009, although this also received poor reviews from critics.
As their career together failed to take off, the couple stopped working together and began to grow apart with rumors of a feud swirling around the two.
While James found success on the West End stage in One Man, Two Guvnors, and then headed to America to begin presenting the Late Late Show in 2015, Mathew remained in the UK working on television projects.
Speculation about the pair’s friendship continued to grow as many fans feared they had grown apart.
During an appearance on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories in 2011, James opened up about their relationship and admitted that they had grown apart but there was never a major fight.
When James was asked if he kept in touch with Mat, he replied: “Eh, we talk from time to time, yeah.”

Known as ‘Gavalar’ and ‘Smithster’, there seemed to be no tension between James and Mathew on set, despite their feud many years ago.
James, who directed the shoot and has yet to start filming himself, was spotted chatting to Mathew on his first day back on set.
Mathew wore beige trousers and a blue padded coat, paired with a helmet as he prepared for the bike scene.
James made a peace sign as he continued to direct the Christmas special episode.
James showed Rob and Joanna how he wanted the scenes to be done.
Joanna looked in high spirits as she returned to set, sporting a floral dress and brown boots.
Mathew was in a very good mood throughout the rainy day on set.
At the time of their breakup, James and Mathew stopped working together and began to grow apart.
While James headed to the US to begin hosting the Late Late Show in 2015, Mathew remained in the UK working on television projects.
James and Mathew reunited for Gavin and Stacey’s Christmas special in 2019 and Mat squashed any rumours of a feud.
After both insisted there was never a feud, they will reunite once again for the final episode of the sitcom airing this Christmas.
The Fantastic Four, including Mathew (second from right), were last seen in the 2019 Christmas special where Nessa proposed to Smithy and the episode ended before he responded.
Piers revealed that Mat was asked to take part in the show but decided against it. James continued hesitantly: “I didn’t know, but I can understand.”
Expressing regret at how quickly they became embroiled in everything that happened after Gavin and Stacey, she confirmed: “We never fell out, it was never that. We were one person for a long time. If I have one regret, it’s that we just rushed into those things.”
“We did our own sketch show, but the reaction was fierce. It was hard to get over it. We were riding an incredible wave and then it just came crashing down. In one year we spent 263 days together and we went from that to nothing.”
Riding the Los Angeles wave, James hosted the Late Late Show until 2023, while making a name for himself across the pond with his iconic Carpool Karaoke and Spill Your Guts challenge.
James and Mat reunited for Gavin and Stacey’s Christmas special in 2019 and Mathew squashed any rumours of a feud.
When asked about the MailOnline ‘spawn’ in the launch episode, Mat insisted the claims were completely fabricated, with no animosity involved.
When MailOnline asked the actor: “Following rumours of a feud, did you feel the need to address the claims when you met earlier this year?” Mathew simply insisted the claims were fabricated, as he joined the entire cast except James at the press conference.
