Gary Neville turns on a junior Sky Sports producer, who publicly slammed him for ‘talking nonsense’ on Twitter, telling him to ‘tag me – don’t be shy’ before the assistant deleted his account
Gary Neville has hit back at a junior Sky Sports producer who accused the pundit of ‘talking nonsense’ about his comments about Manchester City’s performance this season – with the employee subsequently deleting his Twitter account.
Connor Humm, a junior assistant producer at Sky, had criticized the pundit on Twitter.
The Arsenal fan claimed that Man City are close to surpassing the feat of Manchester United’s treble-winning side Neville played in due to his superior football this season.
The Sky employee wrote that Neville had already questioned Man City’s performance during the campaign.
“Gary Neville said Manchester City were not at their usual level this season,” Humm wrote.

The Sky Sports pundit has responded to criticism of his Man City comments this season
“They are about to top his club’s greatest season and do it in a much more impressive way.”
Humm, in a separate post, claimed Neville had been “talking nonsense”.
Neville responded to the initial post by replying ‘How are you? They were not at their usual level. What a strange point to make.
‘Tag me by the way if you work at Sky. Do not be shy.
Humm has deleted his Twitter account following the social media row with the Sky Sports pundit.
The spat followed Man City’s 4-0 win over Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final, with Pep Guardiola’s side advancing 5-1 on aggregate.
City are now closing in on the prospect of a hat-trick after hosting a final against Inter Milan next month.
The reigning English champions are set to win a fifth Premier League title in six years, as they also face Man United in the FA Cup final.
