Gary Neville has revealed that he used to wear matching underwear before every Manchester United match as part of his bizarre pre-match rituals.
United legend Neville, who retired from the game in 2011, won a host of trophies at Old Trafford, including eight Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues.
He has since admitted that he was inspired by a number of quirky habits before stepping onto the field, a trend also shared by many players past and present.

“I used to wear the same color underpants to every game in my career,” he said on the first edition of the Football, Music and Me show.
