Gary Neville has praised Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher for making a “world-class” save to prevent Chelsea’s Cole Palmer from scoring in the Carabao Cup final.
With the game goalless at Wembley, Chelsea pushed forward and the ball eventually fell into the hands of Palmer, who was denied by a superb save from Kelleher.
Neville criticized Raheem Sterling for not shooting straight away but praised Kelleher for his reaction to Palmer’s effort.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said: “What a save.” What a save by Kelleher.
