Gareth saw Pursehouse for the first time since Amie Harwick’s death

The man accused of murdering Hollywood sex therapist Amie Harwick has been portrayed for the first time since he was released on a $ 2 million bond.

Gareth Pursehouse, 41, can be seen on photos exclusively acquired by DailyMail.com on a balcony of a house in Playa Del Rey, California.

He was noticed on Wednesday, just a few hours after being released from prison because he would have thrown Harwick away from her balcony at her death on Saturday.

Pursehouse has been charged with murder in connection with the murder and is back in court on 10 March.

The former fiancée of Harwick, the host of The Price Is Right, Drew Carey, was also seen on Wednesday for the first time since the horrific killing.

He took the garbage out of his house and also shared a heartbreaking tribute in a Boomerang video.

The images show the radiant couple cuddled on an extra large chair in a Christmas-themed room. It is unclear when it was taken.

Carey addressed an email statement about Harwick’s death on Monday US Weekly.

“Amie and I loved that people are lucky enough to have a lifetime.” She was a positive force in the world, an indefatigable and unapologetic champion for women and passionate about her work as a therapist. I am overwhelmed by sorrow, “he said.

“I want to thank you in advance for giving myself and everyone who loved Amie privacy, while we try to endure this tragic situation.”

The statement came after it was announced that the price is right, the recordings of this week had been canceled and will remain in pause indefinitely.

Carey also tweeted a link to an online petition Harwick’s girlfriend Diana Arias started Monday to eliminate the expiration dates of restrictive orders.

Carey and Harwick date more than a year from June 2017 to November 2018. Carey spoke about Harwick’s death on Monday and wrote in a statement: “Amie and I had a love that people are lucky to have once in their lives. Carey and Harwick first made their relationship public in June 2017. They were engaged in January 2018.

Harwick, the author of The New Sex Bible for Women, and Carey broke up in November 2018 after dating more than a year.

Years before she went out with Carey, Harwick had a troubled relationship with Pursehouse.

The 41-year-old was arrested and charged with her murder on Saturday after officers responding to a call about a “woman who shouted” Harwick passed out unconscious on the floor outside her apartment in Playa Del Rey.

She died in the hospital from blunt head and trunk injuries.

The doctor’s roommate told the police that after Pursehouse was broken into, they had left the apartment to seek help for her.

Pursehouse was released on a $ 2 million bond on Tuesday.

Judicial documents reviewed by DailyMail.com catalog years of alleged abuse that prompted Harwick to submit two restrictive orders against Pursehouse in 2011 and 2012.

The couple dated 10 years ago and broke up after the relationship became violent – but Pursehouse remained obsessed with her and harassed until her death.

On January 11, 2012, Harwick and Pursehouse got into a fight in the car and tried to pull her out of the vehicle.

Pursehouse then removed her suitcases from the car and threw them out.

Harwick suffered a bloody nose and scratched his roughness, she reported in her court order filed on April 12, 2012.

On March 18, 2012, Pursehouse broke into her apartment complex and hit 10 depicted frames on her front door. Then he sent her a hair-raising warning and said, “It’s getting worse.”

The next day he broke into the apartment building and left about four dozen flowers stuck to her door.

The next day he returned again, this time to wait outside her door and play music.

The next day he sent threatening emails to her friends.

The Harwick landlord was mentioned as a witness to his stalking incidents in March.

In May 2011, Harwick claimed that Pursehouse choked her, hit her, and hit her head on the floor during a fight. He reportedly covered her mouth to prevent her screaming.

He then kicked her and left her covered with bruises and unable to walk. She said she had broken blood vessels around her face and that her back and neck suffered from whiplash.

“There were several arguments in which Gareth Pursehouse choked me, choked me, pushed me against walls, kicked me, dropped me violently, hit me violently and hit me with a closed fist,” she wrote in the lawsuits of 22 June 2011.

“He told me he hit me” because I made him so angry! “He refused to get help while he was inside [the] relationship. “

On June 18, 2011, Pursehouse pushed her out of a car and left her on the highway late at night. She was bruised during the incident.

In California, the maximum duration of a restraining order is five years. Her writ of execution had expired against him at the time of his death.

In her 2012 restraining order she requested the court to order Pursehouse to implement a 52-week intervention program.

Harwick obtained a temporary restraining order against Pursehouse in 2011, but she did not attend a follow-up hearing and the order was rejected, according to court records.

Less than a year later, she received a temporary restraining order. A judge extended that decision in April 2012, which expired in April 2015.

In that agreement Pursehouse was instructed to stay at least 100 meters away from Harwick and not to contact her.

She recently met Pursehouse in January during the XBiz adult industry awards ceremony, organized by porn star Stormy Daniels, in downtown Los Angeles.

She was a guest at the show and walked the red carpet. Pursehouse was a photographer who worked on the event and saw her appear to “restore his obsessive preoccupation with her,” a friend told the Los Angeles Times.

After Harwick’s death, her friend Diana Arias started an online petition on Monday to eliminate the expiration dates of restrictive orders.

“Amie was banned from a violent ex-boyfriend with whom she went out more than ten years ago. The restraining order had expired before her premature death, “said the petition, which delivered more than 36,000 signatures on Wednesday.

“In the last week of January 2020, this ex-boyfriend attended an event where she popped up and continued to harass her. He then started stalking her and decided to attack her in her own house on late Valentine’s night.

“This man clearly needed treatment, imprisonment and / or punishment for years prior to this attack. She should never have been in as many situations as so many other victims. “

The petition aims to eliminate the expiration dates of restrictive orders and to impose lengthy counseling for stalkers and abusers.

The former Playboy model obtained her degree in psychology at California Polytechnic University in Pomona, California and subsequently obtained a master’s degree in clinical psychology at Pepperdine University.

In 2015, Harwick appeared in the popular online documentary entitled Addicted to Sexting.

She offered weekly therapy sessions for $ 200 per session, according to her site.
