Mae Whitman and Jane Levy endured a friendship that lasts nearly ten years.
And on Friday, the The Good Girls actress, 32, was her friend’s number one cheerleader as she celebrated Levy’s Los Angeles Confidential Magazine cover at a fancy spring luncheon.
The NBC darlings – who immediately formed a friendship after being introduced by a mutual friend – dazzled in bright colors as they toast to the latest achievement from the Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist star.

Mae looked chic in a coin dress with cap sleeves adorned with zebra stripes. She paired the striking dress with a simple pair of black mules and added a pop of color with a bold red lip.
Her two-tone locks were in soft waves as she posed triumphantly next to Jane’s wrap.
And the red-haired beauty shone both on and off the cover during the upcoming song’s debut at the Women of Influence party in Beverly Hills.
Jane sparkled in a magenta set and paired a blouse with elegant matching pants. The wide leg pants showed off her sleek frame and she also sported her look with a red lip.

The Golden Globe nominee celebrated with her mother Mary Tilbury and a few other close friends and family, at a celebration of beautiful flower arrangements.
Also at Levy for the day, So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Mandy Moore and the ladies were all toasted with some refreshments.
The lifestyle magazine made it a point to celebrate not only Levy, but all the strong women who have become part of the Hollywood landscape.

In a joint interview with The Hollywood ReporterAs the ladies talked about their origin story, Mae shared that they hit it off right away after joining a ‘cool weird bar’ in LA.
I came around the corner and Jane was in this gigantic booth with a big shrimp cocktail right in front of her face. It was just these big, blue, bright eyes that penetrated my soul when we met, and I was so shocked and scared but also excited, ” the Parenthood actress shared.
Levy also continued to sing her friend’s praises. ‘I was so taken with how cool [she was] – and I hate to use the term sober, which is an unfortunate phrase we use about people, but she really is such a real person. But besides being a real person, she’s the most incredibly charming and generous person to be around. ‘

Their night continued with Succession star Nicholas Braun and the trio broke up their best Mariah Carey renditions at karaoke, further cementing their friendship.
Speaking to the publication, the ladies began to hype each other, sharing that despite being in the same industry, it’s all love and both have even recommended each other for roles.
“It’s been known that we both go to auditions and say,” We don’t have the right choice for this, but my boyfriend is actually the person for this. ” We both did, ”said Mae.
And Jane hit it home with the ultimate compliment as she gushed all over her friend. “Everyone’s dream best friend is you … and everyone is jealous of me for becoming your best friend, and that makes me feel good,” she said as they laughed.
