The Be Your Man hitmaker, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, recounted the moment Swift’s team reached out after hearing her cover of Cruel Summer.
Swift’s team even invited them to see her perform during one of her Eras tour dates in Melbourne in February.
‘Taylor’s publicist took a moment to tell me personally that Taylor was really impressed with my cover. That alone was incredible. “I didn’t need to perform at shows to feel validated,” G Flip shared with Daily Mail Australia this week.
